Booking Changes Policy
All cancellation fees and terms refer to the original booking dates. Date changes are at the discretion of Southern Star Rentals and, if approved, the following costs may apply.
Changing to Same or Additional Days
No extra cost applies at any stage, provided dates are available.
Changing to Fewer Days
- 91+ days before hire — no extra cost
- 90 to 60 days before hire — 10% of the hire cost for days removed
- 59 to 31 days before hire — 30% of the hire cost for days removed
- 30 to 0 days before hire — 100% of the hire cost for days removed
Minimum Hire Periods for One-Way Rentals
- Perth ↔ Broome: 15 days minimum
- Broome ↔ Darwin: 15 days minimum
- Perth ↔ Darwin: 25 days minimum
